tagging the thread because I want to know the answers to your questions too! Thanks for posting :)

Two months out, and you can book through Disney dining by calling or e-mailing. We were there Sunday; it was very busy. We were seated in the room with the bar and stage. We could definitely hear the music! It gets a little loud for me at times, but it was still kind of fun to have live music while eating. I had the fried catfish po-boy and DH had the ragin' cajun burger. We both liked our sandwiches. There are also some brunch specialties, but we were there more at lunchtime than breakfast. DH has had and enjoyed the cajun omelet on a previous visit. The boys had the kid buffet. It's basically all-you-can-eat of the kid's meal foods. I know I saw the boys eating pancakes, burgers, chicken nuggets, and fries. There was also bacon, eggs, mac & cheese, fruit cups, cookies, and cotton candy. DH and I found our sandwiches to be very filling, and since the boys had the kid buffet, none of us left hungry.

Oh, brunch at Brennan's is one of my favorites! I just posted some pictures from our last brunch (two weeks ago) on the Disneyland Dining thread (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1253888&page=200). The food is really good and the jazz music is fun to listen to (if you're sitting inside).

You can call Brennan's directly to make a reservation. The phone number is on their website: http://www.rbjazzkitchen.com/

Thank you for the link, your pics have made me very hungry! The calamari looks delicious.

It sounds as though you have gone often so I'm wondering if you can lend any insight as to where the best places are to sit. Obviously some areas are louder than others but our party includes a certain Grandmama who refuses to wear her hearing aids so trying to YELL OVER JAZZ might get a bit annoying.. I want atmosphere but not TOO much atmosphere if you know what I mean. Also, have you gone on the dueling piano night? Is this 'family friendly'.. the later hour makes me think it might be a more grownup funtime.

I've only been the dueling piano once and that was a while ago. The music is a lot of fun, but I don't remember it being any more adult later in the evening.
Any time there is music (including the live jazz music during the brunch), it's loudest inside the restaurant. I'd roughly divide Brennan's into three area: main room inside, first floor patio and second floor. If you seated in the main room, it would be hard to have a conversation with some with hearing issues when the music is playing. When we've sat on the patio or second floor, you can't really hear the music and the noise level is fine. I like the second floor balcony area the best, but the patio is best for people watching while you eat.

The pork debris was really good. The bread was a toasted ciabatta bread, which was better than the usual English muffin. There was a very generous amount of shredded pork on it. The creole hollandaise was very mild (which is good because some of Brennan's food has quite a quick).

The Bananas Foster French toast was very sweet, so much so that we couldn't finish it (even with everyone at the table taking a taste or two). The bread was soaked in the egg mixture which made the French toast heavier than we like. While it was fun to try, it wasn't something that we order again.

Thanks Fig. I love Bananas Foster so I can't see me not ordering it. Now if I can talk my DH or one of my Ds's into the pork debris I'm all set.
