It got pretty cold last year around this time ( we were there the 7-14th of Feb) and there was frost warnings and it was very very cold and rainy. Let it get out its system now, we will be there in less than 2 weeks and Im not looking forward to cold weather again. Come on sunshine:wizard:

I would be so bummed to have negative temps....I love the hot weather.

We were also down there last year from Feb 2 to Feb 13th and the day before we came home the temp only got to 6C!!!! And it was sooooo windy too.:goodvibes BUT the weather can change so fast there so hopefully it will warm up in a few days for all that are heading to WDW!:thumbsup2

Yes Sammi, we were there the same week last year and while the midday felt warm (relatively speaking) evenings were downright COLD!! Inever put on a pair of shorts the whole trip and only went in the hottub - not the pool!

But I have to say that it was sunny every day with not a cloud in the sky and no rain at all so I guess you can be thankful for that. I do feel sorry for the animals - I bet they aren't used to -2!! Those Giraffes will be knocking on the Animal Kingdom Lodges doors to get in!!

Florida is a really weird state as one day you can freeze and then the next you're dying of the heat!:goodvibes

We've been down there 3 times in Feb and last year was the coldest ever for us!But it sure beats a day in Canada in the winter anytime!

The day we flew in (Feb 2nd) was the warmest (in the low 80's) and then on the 3rd a severe thunderstorm came through and wham the cold air came......we had rented a home with a heated pool and I did get in a few times!lol The day we flew home we left very early and DH had to scrape the frost off the windshield and since we had a rental car we had no scraper! :rotfl:

We are here in Orlando. We arrived on Friday morning. It was beautiful on Friday and Saturday. We were in the pool. It started to rain last night around nine and today it was sunny but windy. It was nice in the sun but it was really chilly in the shade. We are of to Epcot tomorrow in te 55F weather, but we have our Canadian jackets and gloves so we should be fine. Compared to Ottawa's weather tomorrow I will take what we are having. Friday is supposeto be 83F so we get to Blizzard Beach to celebrate my BD.

Happy Birthday to you early nepean! We're heading down on the 8th of Feb. hopefully it warms up and stays warm. I've been reading about the cold temps so we didn't buy the water parks & more on our tickets , just park hoppers. If it's warm enough, then we'll buck up for the tickets. Anyway, hope it warms up for all heading down, and stays warm & dry.:3dglasses
