in a little while I am going to climb under the covers and pull the blankets over my head. hopefuly my cat will take the hint and curl up in bed with me.

My fingers and nose are red from the cold. I would love a roaring fire.

WOW! Two of you freezing people are in Georgia and one in NC. Can you even imagine how cold it must be out at the football game in Massachusetts? It is in the single digits here but the heat is keeping it warm.

I heard they actually let people bring blankets to the Pats game. still, you wouldn't find me sitting at a game on a day like today. that's what television is for.

ITA! Dh came to me this morning saying he could get us some tickets to the game from friends and I asked him if he was out of his mind. First, I'm already sick and can't even talk and second, that's about the last place on earth I would want to be right now! Just watching those players is making me cold.

Folks I live in Georgia and I would never ever build a house without a fireplace. People up north laugh at us about cold weather and ther eis no doubt that you guys are obviously better equipped to deal with it but....the cold here is very humid and damp. It is a bone chilling type of cold. It gets through clothes and down to the bone. I have been snow skiing in some of the best places on the east coast and have yet to experience this type of cold. Right now it is overcast and extremely damp outside but not raining.

I agree dawgfan....I am in Fl...near Orlando...and it is a very cold. damp night....they are calling for a freeze tonight in some places. Its hard to believe that just yeaterday, it was mid 70's and I was in shorts...today....I cant keep warm....


It has been a really COLD winter for Fl this year....by FL standards of course, but still cold.

Lets see current temp is.......39 °F.

we were at Disney one year, it was so cold at night that during Fantasmic the audience actually cheered the dragon -- who warmed us by setting the lake on fire -- and booed Mickey for puting the fire out.

It's very cold here in Maryland. We are keeping warm by staying in the house under our thick covers with hot tea and the heat blazing. We are using Laptops instead of our CPU, just to stay warm and not get out of bed.
