I can't remember and I can't find my recipe. Help please!!! :goodvibes
 
I start with 20 minutes, then just keep checking them every few minutes.
 

I've used bratwurst and other sausages as well. It's all good.

The cooking time basically depends upon the type and thickness of bacon you use.

When the bacon is done, it's done.

Darn, I have such a craving for these now! I am actually in the process of cleaning out the freezer and have bacon and smokies in there. Just put brown sugar on the grocery list!
 
Never had these but they sure do look good!!! Might have to put them down for either Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve.
 
If you make them you want to keep them hot/warm for serving. The sugar will solidify when they cool and you lose the syrup you want. The good news is that they get eaten so fast you usually don't have to worry about it!

Also, I really recommend that you use a disposable pan, like a foil pan from the grocery store! The sugar is a little bit of a pain to clean. A lot of hot water and it comes off but if you hate doing dishes like I do a disposable pan is wonderful!
