Brown Derby Reservation, how add Fantasmic!?

Realized late I could add Fantasmic! on dining plan without anything extra. Trip next week. Called dining reservations, and no openings, but I think they always try to find an open reservation for Brown Derby, which we already have. Is there a way to add Fantasmic! to an existing Brown Derby reservation? Is it a matter of making a bunch of calls 2 days before the date (I believe it was a 2 day cancellation on that package) to see if someone cancels?

You can not add the Fantasmic! package to an existing reservation. You would have to book the reservation under the Fantasmic! package. You can keep checking and hope for a cancellation but if one doesn't happen you are out of luck. You also have to eat a certain amount of time before the show. So if Fantasmic! is at 7pm show you have to eat by like 5pm.

I booked the Fantasmic package and then when I realized how long the wait was until the show (and even though I had "reserved" seats for the Fantasmic show, I still had to show up earlier than I wanted to wait before the show) I cancelled the package and IMMEDIATELY rebooked the restaurant by itself. I didn't see an option to add or remove the Fantasmic show.

They come from different inventory.

I booked regular dining and thought I booked Fantasmic, the server said no problem and we got it. So I would just ask? Could go either way.
