Brown Derby Question

Does anyone know if you can go into the Brown Derby and get a piece of Grapefruit Cake "to go"??

None of the table service restaurants do "to go" orders.

I thought I have heard they have it at the Stariing Rolls bakery. But not 100% sure on that.

Yes it is at Starring Rolls, but you can also make a ressie to eat it there.

I did this for my 40th bday. Had just dessert, the server was so nice, gave me a card and another dessert for free.

I asked the CM at Starring Rolls for a slice of the Grapefruit Cake. I knew it wasn't in the display case. She went to the kitchen and got a slice and put it in a container. It rang up same as other cake selections. Give that a try, worked for me! And, Yumm-o!

We've had reports here of people ordering the grapefruit cake to go at the Brown Derby, but not in a long time. So I think it may be possible, just not probable. I would ask at Starring Rolls, that is, if you can tear your eyes away from the cupcakes....

I've seen more recent reports of people being turned down when asking for to-go orders from Brown Derby.
