On our next trip, we want to do the Fantasmic Package at Brown Derby. We've already done Mama Melrose and Hollywood and Dine. Although both were O.K., we rather try Brown Derby this trip.

My question is since DD will be 10 during this trip, can she do the childs package?? There is no way she can eat an appetizer, meal and dessert off the adult menu.

Thanks!
Katie

We went once when my daughter was 10 or 11 (5 or 6 years ago) We were honest and put the reservations in as an adult, but it was killing me to pay that much when I knew she wouldn't eat much. They looked at her and asked which menu. Again, we were honest and told them her age. The server said that she could order off the kids menu and they charged us the kid price. We were so happy to not pay the extra $$. I can't guarantee you this will happen to you, but that was our experience. It is the best steak I have ever eaten. Now we go and my DD is 16 and DS is 13 and they love getting three courses and eating a big steak.

I was planning on telling them her age since she will only turn 10 a month or so before the trip. Like you, it's hard to justify the price if she can't eat even half of it. On the other hand, my DS who is 11 eats more than I do so I don't mind paying the adult price for him. He hasn't eaten a kids meal since he was 5  .

When I make the ADR, I'll list it as 3 adults and ask them if she can eat off the kids menu when we check-in.
