Brown Derby Bamboo Room?

We come from from CA, only get to visit every five years or so, and our first/last/only meal at the wonderful Brown Derby was about 10 years ago I think. Back then we had heard mention (probably on this board!) suggesting requesting the 'Bamboo Room' at check in, which we did, and after waiting for a while we were seated in that very nice, smaller, area.
We're very much looking forward to returning to DW soon, and hope to be able to go back to the Brown Derby. Does anyone know if the Bamboo Room is still there, and if so is it still available for general public dining? The only thing I came up with on searches is special events like a meal with an imagineer.

The Bamboo room still exists but whether it will be open on any particular day to the general public is impossible to say. It is used for the Dining with an Imaginear and can also be used as a location for private events held in the parks, sometimes on purpose and also as a backup and/or rain location for other events that are supposed to take place elsewhere.
