Last night was spent grocery shopping, house straightening, report card grading...there was so much to do in so little time. I also finished and sent off the grad course, so that's a big burden lifted off of me.
We made it through this four day week, and the kids were terribly excited to know they had a ten day break. We have meetings and work time today, and then we'll be looking a lot like the kids did yesterday as it nears 3:15.
A teacher friend is picking me up this morning so that I don't have to leave my car at school for any length of time. Jill and the girls will be here in the afternoon. Can't wait to see those sweet little faces again and have them with me all the way until Wednesday!
I've had to buy a new microwave and a new laptop cord this week. Not what I had planned at all. The boys have to have the microwave, though, and if I plan to Dis, the cord was a necessity. I don't like unexpected expenses.
Since I am the strange person that I am, and knowing that Brooklynn was going to dress as Ariel and Bella as Flounder, I went in search of Sebastian to accompany us on the trip. In the back room, in a Disney popcorn bucket with many other little plastic Disney friends, there was indeed a Sebastian, so he will be along for the ride.
Really. Who else does this kind of stuff?!?!?
Yet somehow I think you guys still accept me.
Okay, that's it for now. I'll check in from work before we leave this afternoon for a last goodbye.
Hope you all have a glorious weekend with family, friends, and fun. I know we plan to!
