I have a busy day tomorrow & Friday so wanted to check in now to wish you bon voyage and a magical trip! I know you all will have the best time ever. And I can't wait to hear all about it.

I'm not friends w/ Trent on FB so I will depend on others to provide some updates here. It's always so fun to follow along when you know that friends are there.

For what it is worth my F&W favorites were: beef empanada (Argentina? booth by Mexico), beef skewers with chimichurri and bonaiuto puree (same booth as empanada), braised short ribs (France), and chocolate lava cake in Ireland.

HAVE A GREAT TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am planning on getting an empanada. I had seen the lava cake and thought about it, too. I am going to be a glutton, I think!

On second thought, I better hold it together until I land in Orlando or I might get "extra attention " from TSA.

love the pictures of Poly! Particularly the one with the CDs. I didn't know the Tapa Story. It makes me kind of sad.

I'm not sure if I will get on tomorrow, so I hope you all have a great trip!!! While you are doing last minute stuff, I will be playing sand volleyball. It's going to be a balmy 45 degrees. Thank goodness it is the last week. I'm just not sure my fingers will thaw so I can type before you leave on Friday!

wigdoutdismom Thank you so much! I really appreciate the offer, especially since we do not know anyone in that part of the state. We are hoping for somewhere close to Salina or south of Kansas City, but we are keeping our options open. Plus you had me at a Target AND a Walmart.

We've had a little taste of cold a couple of days here, but not freezing, and certainly no snow like Brook! We've had enough rain to satisfy us for quite some time, though.

I will be excited this afternoon after the kids leave. They don't come tomorrow, so we'll have an in-service and work day. Right now, I have too many things to do and too many kids to attend to, and it's getting in the way of being able to think about the trip. They are so excited to have ten days out of school, too, so I know that my excitement will build as theirs does today! They'll be running out of the building, and the teachers will look like this:

It's another rainy Thursday in Nashville. Trent said yesterday he feels like we're living in Seattle, Washington with all this rain!

You've had the 'sick' house, so I know your week has seemed long! I hope you guys are getting better and better every day.

My week has been filled with things to do, so it has gone by rather quickly. I finished that course this week, and I'm sending in all the work today. I am so glad to get that behind me. We're getting report cards ready at school, so that's taken up time. Plus I have been packing sporadically and getting things set up for the boys here at home.

I am ready to see some sunshine; I know that! It has rained for like three weeks now.

Good morning all! Just wanted to check in this morning since I don't that I will get another chance. Tonight I will print off our boarding passes and I have to pack. I plan on finishing Bella's costume today at work. Tonight before bed tonight the car will have to be loaded since we are leaving straight from school and we have to be there by 6:30 in the morning. Tomorrow night we will be sleeping at "French Porter." Gotta go get ready and get the girls out of bed.

Ugh, I hear Trent about the rain. I'm so sick of it too! Every morning when we watch the weather channel, I'll be looking to see how it is in Orlando to see how your day will be.

Memom, are you on the Dining Plan or do you have the Tables in Wonderland card? I know you are excited!!! 2 more days! When are you going in Dec? I will be there 12/27-1/2! I'm getting excited and i still have 73 or so days, not that I'm counting!

We have the Tables in Wonderland card. It has more than paid for itself! We are super excited! We will be there almost the exact same dates in December. We arrive the 28th and leave the 2nd. There is a group of us planning to meet on the beach of the POly New Years Eve for fireworks. You are more than welcome to join us.

We're fairly normal and not too scary...
and even if we are,
it'll be worth it to come and meet the other Disers who are normal!

Yes! Come join us! I'm not scary, but certainly not normal either!

I still haven't put anything on the countdown board about a DIS meet-I keep forgetting and life has been so crazy busy. Hopefully after tomorrow things will slow down a bit for me and I can get a tad more organized with only focusing on the family instead of my attention being split with work.

I did PM the DISer who gets the room at the Poly with the webcam each year. He says to watch for him, so hopefully we'll be able to camp around his room. He also said, if he recalls correctly, it really starts to fill up on the beach around 10 pm. So, if we camp out our spot before then, we should be good. Oooh, just thinking about all that makes me so excited!!


I am not sure I'll make it back here later today or tomorrow, so I want to say HAVE A MAGICAL TRIP!! I look forward to the rest of this TR, and your next one when you return.

Oh, and Jill-I can't believe Bella is already crawling at 6 months!!! Wow! She's a mover! Henry wasn't even sitting up at 6 months. Though, he has a very big head and was a big baby, now he's skinnnnnnny. So, I know those have factors with sitting up/crawling, etc. Do you think she's gonna be an early walker? In some ways, that's nice-but in others... I can't wait to meet her, and everyone else, in a few months!

Isabella's costume is finished and adorable if I do say so myself. I will try to post a picture later this afternoon. I still have yet to put the first thing in the suitcase so I am leaving work on time today and heading home to get everything washed, packed, and ready to go. As long as I get there with everyone and their costumes I can buy everything else if I needed to.
