Broken Toy, Am I Just Outta Luck?

My older dd just opened up her Queen Amidala Fashion Set (like Polly Pockets) and played with it for only 5 mins. She tried to change the doll's clothes and the white pants (battle costume) ripped! My dd's played with these kinds of dolls for years and knows to be gentile. What can I do? We're no longer in Anaheim. Can I exchange the old set for a new set while we're there in Dec? Ugh.

Do you still have the receipt? If so, call the number on the back and see if you can get a new one shipped out to you.

You can also return anything you buy at the parks at any Disney Store.

If you don't have the number on the receipt, call delivEARS at 800-362-4533. Disney is usually very, very good about that sort of thing.

Disney Store is no longer accepting returns from the parks. They have a new policy which became effective Sept 1st.

Thanks, everyone! I do have the receipt and we will be going back the Sunday after Thanksgiving. I just hope I can convince my dd to wait because I really just want to return it now. I think the set is a piece of junk after having played with it myself (tested out some of the other outfits.) To add insult to injury for dd, not only am I the one who convinced her to buy it with her own money, but she got the Princess Leia set too! I feel an interim trip to Toys-R-Us coming up in our future.

I would call Deliverears now. That way they can ship you a new one. If you wait until you go in November, they may no longer carry it. I did an exchange with Deliverears and they were so kind and easy to work with.

Thanks for the update! That sucks, though! I have done that occasionally, although, not lately, and it was convenient.
