Broken leg

I have a broken leg and will get cast off 2 days before my trip and will get to put weight on it then but will still be in brace and crutches and I won't get to start physical therapy until after the trip.

I'm going to rent a scooter to use while I'm there. Any suggestions for company to use? Issues with having it delivered the morning I arrive but probably before I actually get there? Any info would be appreciated. I'm staying at Portifino

I used Walker Mobility 3 years ago after knee surgery. They delivered to the lobby of Portofino . You can visit their website. They go by weight to find scooter that fits your needs. They were very easy to deal with.

There are other companies mentioned on the Disabilities board here, but Walker is definitely a good one that is talked about a lot.

The disABILITIES board has information on scooter (ECV = electric conveyance vehicle) rental. Go to the disABILITIES FAQs sticky. Post one has a table of contents.
Walker and Buena Vista are two that seem to get consistently good reviews.
