Broken cheek bone???

My DS who is 7 was at beavers last night and while playing a game, some other little boys head and Liam's cheekbone/eye collided. It is all swollen and black and blue. I'm not sure if its broken or not but I don't think a doctor would do anything. Anyone know for sure.

I think you would need to see a doctor to see if it is broken just to be on the safe side.

I'm not sure but if it was me I'd call the local GP and see if the practice Nurse could take a look at it. I would only take a couple of mins and, if nothing else, it would ease your mind

Aww bless him. I would probably get it checked out, just to be sure. I hope it's not too painful for him

Poor little thing, I think it would be best to get it checked out, hope it heals fast

We went to one of my friends who is a nurse and she says it is just soft tissue damage so thats good news.

Thanks for all your kind messages . He is fine and rather proud of his black eye. It's not too painful.
