Broadway Dining package vs SW Dessert Party

I’m taking my ten year old to celebrate her birthday in February (turning eleven, so adult prices for her). We have reservations for the Star Wars dessert party, but we could do the Broadway Dining package that night for less (and get a full meal).

She loves dessert.

She cannot eat anywhere near $80 in dessert.

She likes Star Wars ok.

She likes broadway a little less than Star Wars.

We are already doing HEA dessert party that trip.

She has been to Disney many times and has seen SW fireworks.

She has never seen the Disney broadway concert.

So. .......

Which one?

Or do we skip both, just try to find a seat at the concert, and eat dessert around the world at Epcot?

There are multiple different concerts with different musicals featured and different performers.

I saw the schedule from last year and they haven’t yet posted who or what for 2018. I would love any of the music from the Disney Broadway shows, but my daughter isn’t as big a Broadway fan as I am.

Do you know if it was fairly easy to see the concerts without a package last year, or should we get a package if we want a good seat?

We saw the concert without a dining package last year. Our seats were good and the standby line wasn't very long. The show was fantastic! Based on the description of your daughter's preferences, I wouldn't do either event. Tons of great desserts in EP. You could also go to BWI for Ample Hills ice cream or try to get an ADR at B&C and get the kitchen sink?

Edited to add: I would still see the Broadway show! I just wouldn't do the package unless you will do EP TS that day anyway.
