How essential (or helpful) is it to get a Broadway Concert Series dining package? We are planning on doing the concert on Feb 8 or 9, so it’s not a super busy weekend (Presidents day is the next weekend and Princess marathon is after that). If we did standby, how long would we need to get there to get a decent spot?

Do we even know if it is happening next year? I haven’t seen anything about Festival of the Arts yet - and the concert series is part of that.

I don’t know if it is necessary, but I did do it last year. I figured I needed to eat and I was going to see it, so no big deal to just do the package.

We attended several of the concerts last year and wandered in 15 minutes prior and got good seats in the back half of the theater. It never filled completely.

If you want to be up close, a package is probably your only option and if you plan to already eat a table service, it might be worth the extra $. We rarely/never eat TS at Epcot so it's definitely not a good financial decision for us.

Festival of the Arts was awesome last year so my fingers are crossed it returns! I loved all of it - esp the concerts.

Ok, that helps! We will be eating at Garden Grill, which is supposed to do a package, but I also have TiW, so it would be a larger cost difference! I'll probably stick with "standby" because we don't need to be up front, just want to see the concert in general!

That weekend is the High School Cheerleading National Championships at WWoS so it might be pretty busy. I am pretty sure that all of the all star resorts are already full for that weekend.

Which week are you referring to?

Ooh, it’s Feb 8-10. So maybe we will do a dining package after all. At least we already have a DVC rental at Beach Club. Decisions decisions!

Just wondering as I have a solo trip booked from 2/2-2/9, but I am staying at POFQ. I might switch to CR if a room discount comes out. I won’t worry about the cheerleaders then.

I went to several of the Broadway Concerts last year and was able to get in the day of with no problem. I don't think the dining package is needed.
