I know the moderates don't offer broadband but just dial up. I think about the only place you would find high speed is in the business centers of the larger hotels.
I'm on broadband right now at the S&D - it is included in your daily resort fee ($10 per day) includes cooffee in the room, health club use, paper daily, broadband, etc Really well worth it....

I don't know that Disney will be changing to Broadband very soon. Most hotels that offer broadband are geared more towards business travel. And thought Disney does have some conference traffic, the majority of their guests are vacationers. I would think those wanting broadband access at Disney is relatively small.
I'm a serious Internet user (as we probably all are), but I think the previous poster is correct. Disney is all about making/helping us forget about the real world and our work stress. As much as I want broadband in my hotel rooms (inclucing Disney), I don't think Disney wants us thinking about work too much. They certainly don't want us sitting in front of our laptops in our hotel rooms -- they want us out and having fun! I think that's probably also why you won't find any Internet cafes in the parks either.
