Britta water bottle ????

Can anyone tell me where to find the Brita Water bottle filters people are talking about? I looked at walmart yesterday and could not find them,and the sales people could not figure out what I was talking about.

I couldn't find them either so I went to ebay. I've been using mine for several weeks now and I LOVE IT! It's great! They are discontinued so that is why they are so hard to find. Some say to check CVS, Ace and any hardware store.

The Walmart close to my mom's house had them on a clearance aisle the week before last, ours are with the plumbing supplies.

Our Walmart had them near the plumbing supplies this week too. Not on clearance though.

I was able to find the refills for $3.50 a box today at Walmart. Then my husband was out of town and I ask him to stop at the Walmart there. He did stop and check it out, and called me to let me know that they had 5 bottles at $2.00 each. So I had him pick them all up.

I found mine at CVS on Monday.

I borrowed one from a friend before I left--she even had a new filter to go with it. Never used it. We ended up freezing our bottles of water the night before and those kept the other drinks cold. It was just such a big bottle, I'm kinda glad I didn't tote it into the parks.

They are discontinued so that might be why you can't find them. I was able to find some several months ago at our Walmart. They were in the plumbing section near the larger models of the Brita's. They are sold out now.

I have checked the 3 walmarts in my area. None had them; however, I was in CVS yesterday and found 2 bottles and 3 boxes of replacement filters. I am checking the other CVS's today to get more. If you can't find them and need or want them let me know and I can get them to you. The ones at CVS were not on sale so were $7.99 apiece the filters were $7.99 for a two pack.

As for the Brita Bottles I live in the SW and cannot find them anywhere.
Our Wal-marts,Targets,and K-marts don't have them. And, we do not
have CVS.
I am going to check our home Depot's and REI. Anywhere else?
And, are these just your regular size sports bottle? How often does
the filter need to be changed?

You may try the little local hardware stores like Ace or True Value. The filters will filter up to around 50 some gallons of water before needing replaced. I guess it depends on the water put through it.

I just got home from Kmart - they had the 2-pack of filters for 64 cents ... I bought all 7 packs.

If you have Brooks Pharmacy, check there -every Brooks I have gone to around here has them - several of them!
