Britney Spear's new video "Everytime"

Did you like it? Or understand it?? The song doesn't match what's going on in the video, and the whole suicide scene was creepy. Didn't like it. You?

I don't care for it either. Remember, there was a scene cut where she commits suicide by ingesting pills and drowning in the bathtub. I think they should have left the whole thing on the cutting room floor. It just glorifies drama for the younger girl.

I have to agree - this new video is a bit creepy for me too...

Now, I'm all for Miss Britney and think she is a dang hot lil thang and from what I hear puts on a heck of a concert -- but am I the only one who feels she just doesn't have the vocal talent?

I remember her when she was a Mousekateer on the Disney Channel.....she seemed so much more vocally talented then. Is it that she's just not singning the right type of music for her voice, or what?

I can't stand anything about Britney, but I haven't seen this particular video...but I doubt I'll like it.

((I can't believe she was ranked WAY hotter than Orlando Bloom, Andy Roddick...even Johnny Depp wasn't as hott as her on the VH1 100 Hottest Hotties...obviously the voters were blind))

I heard, though I'm not sure, that this was a video in retaliation to Justin's 'Cry me a River' video. I have no idea what she's getting at pulling a suicide in a bathtub, but I don't think the lyrics coincide with the video.

Simon from American Idol was on the radio a few weeks ago. his comment was that Brtiney was good when she wa doing songs from her first album, when she was Britney and not trying to be Madonna, and that she should go back to the look and sound of her first album instead of trying to be someone she's not.

I have to agree with Simon. "edgy" just doesn't work for her.

I like most of her music...so its not like I turn it off when I'm in the car or anything. And actually, we have 3 of the 4 CDs. I personally just think she tries to be too provacative in her music videos (that outfit in Toxic? LOL) and it somewhat concerns me considering there are thousands of young girls watching her!

My husband would say her videos are awesome....as he sits and drools at the tv!!

As far as I'm concerned it isn't a suicide. It looks to me as if the back of her head is bleeding, thats why her palm is bloody becaiuse she touches the back of her head. It may look like she slit her wrist but it's her Kabbalah bracelet.

The video sure as heck doesn't go with the lyrics though...

On MTV she said the video was about reincarnation. Now I don't get that at all watching the video.

I listen to her songs...I actually liked Toxic! The video was a bit much though.

normally i hate brittany. She can't even sing when they show scenes from her on tour. But the video is interesting, i don't think it glorifies drama or suicide at all. I didn't listen to the words so I don't know if it goes w/ the video. I guess the reincarnation thing is at the end when she's walking through the hospital and the lady is holding the baby, kindof like that old live song/video.
