Hello, looking for 2018 cruise to the British Isles, anyone have experienced another cruise line like Norwegian Jade?

We cruised the British Isles on the Ruby Princess. Great cruise. Similar itinerary to the Norwegian Jade, except the Jade includes Amsterdam and Brussels.

Our favorite ports were Edinburgh and LaHavre. I'm not a history buff, so visiting Normandy was way better than reading about WWII in a history book.

Thank you so much!!!

The new Carnival Horizon, (Vista Sista), will be spending summer 2018 in Europe, but itineraries haven't been announced yet. They should be announcing them the first week of December, we're really hoping they do British Isles and Northern Itineraries.

Squee, this excites me to no end, I'm crossing my fingers you are correct! We're eyeing the UK for 2018 or 2019 and I would love it to be on a shiny new pretty ship!

Wao, can't wait to see the itinerary.

We'd love to do a British Isles or Norwegian Fjords so will definitely be checking that out. Luv2Cruz (think that's her name) recommends MSC so that's another we'll be checking out when the itineraries come out. Think they have 2 or 3 new ships coming but they may be mostly Med cruises. It will either be a cruise with pre/post cruise stay or 2+ weeks land vacation for summer 2018.

To the OP - I think that many of the European cruises are on older/smaller ships...not that there is necessarily anything wrong with that. We did an amazing Baltic cruise on RCI's Serenade of the Seas this past summer. It was so port-intensive that the ship really didn't matter, but we loved the ship.
