British Invasion to Leave Walt Disney World

I really enjoyed watching them perform, and would make a point to see at least one of their sets on each visit. We really feel that they could truly enhance a visit to the UK Pavilion at Epcot. I wasn't thrilled with their recent decision to abandon their format of playing Beatles songs exclusively, but that is my opinion and probably has nothing to do with their departure.

Funny, I remember seeing them in late '09 or early '10, and they made the announcement that just that morning they had signed a contract with Disney that would keep them there until sometime in 2011. Looks like that contract would be the last one they'd sign, so it seems.

I never like to hear that a band or cast members are leaving Disney. I hope they are still around for my next trip to Disney in June. Sorry to see them go.

Sigh...I'm still trying to get over Four for a Dollar leaving DHS. I've always enjoyed British Invasion, just sitting in that back garden watching the people and listening to the music. I'm really sorry to hear they are leaving.

I agree 100%. I love the music; I'm a huge Beatles fan, but for me, seeing British Invasion at the UK Pavilion is about more than just the music. The mood, the vibe, the atmosphere - whatever you want to call it. So many great memories of time spent there watching that band.

I completely agree! I have a wonderful picture of my boyfriend and I doing the twist and shout, having a fantastic time. British Invasion will be truly missed!

British Invasion is one of the things that made the UK one of my favorite pavilions. Sitting in that back garden listening to the music, watching everyone singing along and dancing. They will certainly be missed

I never did look them up to see if they were around, so I never knew they did gigs at DTD! It was over 10 years ago that I saw them perform in the Italy pavilion at Epcot.

This was a band that played for 15 years at Walt Disney World in Florida. There is a lot of live entertainment at Disneyland. I really like the New Orleans Square area with the Dixieland jazz.
