I remember reading quite a while ago that the British Colonial Hilton in Nassau will let you use their facilities for free while in Nassau. They're hoping you spend money at the restaurants and bars. I know the Wyndham at Cable Beach will let you do this. We did that last year, but wanted to try something different this year.

Has anybody been there and done this? Is the hotel nice? Any information would be helpful.
Thanks

I remember the price for using the Hilton beach was $15 per person. The beach is rather small. I prefer Cable Beach.

Thanks Princess Snow. We are cruising on the Mariner and we're only in port until 2:00. We thought this might be a better option considering the time constraints.

Anybody else have any info or suggestions???

Their beach is very, very small, and I would think it wouldn't be half as nice as Cable Beach. Either the Wyndom (sp) or the Radisson, where we stayed, have great beaches and they are big, with enough stuff for kids to do. Just take the #10 bus on Bay Street and tell them where you want to go. It's safe, cheap ($1.00 pp) and available all day long. Good luck and have fun! Melissa
