I just wondered your opinion on this - We are looking to go to WDW with BA in July next year. Although we have used BA many times before never in the school holidays ( pesky kids :rotfl: ). Once I fell off my chair at the prices I wonder if these go up or come down. We never usually book until after Christmas but having a WDW free year I have the jitters and want to book. The price I am getting is £2874 for 2 adults and 2 kids and we did get a BA voucher for our delayed baggage we had this year!

So what do you think - will the prices ease up or go up?

Hi Jackie,

We flew this year with Virgin, and have booked next July with them as well.
We got a flydrive including car insurance for £2200 (2 adults 2 kids)

After saying that we have flown for the past 10 years with BA, and we were shocked by the difference in service.

Virgin on both ways seemed to be put out by any requests we made of the cabin staff. ie asking for a glas of water!

Their food also does not compare with BA it is far inferior. After saying that, it was a big difference in price between the 2 airlines when we were booking, and as I didn't have enough BA miles for a free flight, that's what swung our desicion to go with Virgin.

At the end of the day for us it was about getting from A to B.

Hope this helps

The good thing for you, Jackie, is the fact that with BA you can fly from Aberdeen to Gatwick then MCO. That in itself, is one of the things that swung it for us when we booked this year.

We got £1500 for 2 adults and 1 teenager. I'm not sure if that is good or not though, but it was one of the better deals we found.

Hopefully someone will be able to help you on here though, regarding the prices.

Bump - any other opinions greatly appreciated :thumbsup2

Hi Jackie.

Just started planning a trip for April 08. I was hoping to use BA from Edinburgh but costs £2700 for 3 adults 1 child. I was also wondering if anybody knows if they might come down?

We flew Continental 3 years ago, changing at Newark. Flights are around £2000 with them so we may go that way again.

Great to be in planning mode again.
