Britax car seats???

Can I sell mine? I have a Roundabout and a Marathon, which are both in great condition and have never seen an accident. Not sure what the law is though. Anyone know?

They 'expire' 5 years after manufacture date. There should be a manufacture date on the seats.

Check the date (usually on the bottom sticker) and then list them on craiglist with expiration information...you might get a buyer.

It's actually 6 years from manufacturer date. OP, there should be a sticker on the side or just under the cover with the date on it. If it is expired but the cover is in good condition you can sell the cover alone. It should net you $20-40 on Craigslist or Ebay.

Even if the seats themselves have expired, you can take the covers off and probably sell them. I would have loved a cheap second cover for my Roundabouts back when I used them!

ETA: We did sell one (two?) of ours that was still a long way from its expiration date, but we gave away others that were closer to theirs. At one point in our lives we had 4 of them!

I just sold my 6 year old britax on Craigslist for $75. I guess is there is a buyer, it doesn't matter.
