Has anyone else used this? Does it really make WDW taste better? I've been having the hardest time finding one (Walmart, Dick's....nobody had them) and then happened to stumble across it at the grocery store of all places!

I'm thinking it might be a good idea to cut down on the cost and waste of bottled water in the parks/grocery store, etc....

Any opinions?

I used these on our very first trip to the world and they worked perfectly! Now we don't use as much since we just bring bottled water and add those flavor mixes in. I wonder if those would make the water taste better...hmm!

I'm pretty sure they're discontinued. I bought two before our first trip in 2006. They worked great, but it was a pain carrying it in my bag all day. I would take it with me again, though. I thought the water tasted fine with the Brita bottle, though. Oh, and you can be GREEN using a refillable bottle instead of a disposable bottle. :thumbsup2

My mom and I have used these our past few trips and they are fabulous! We used to refill regular water bottles and we hated the sulfur taster/smell in the water. The Brita bottles get rid of all that. The problem is that I believe they have been discontinued, so finding the replacement filters is a big challenge. I happened to find some last year and grabbed them. But since I only use the bottles once a year for WDW, I don't have to change the filters often. I say go for it, and if the store had extra filters, buy them too for the future.

We have these bottles also and they work great. We were able to find the filters in a clearance section for 88 cents and we bought every package available. Even though these bottles have been discontinued, some people have found them on the shelves in Walmarts and Walgreens.

Can you tell us what supermarket you found them at I would love to have another one. I have one now but only have one filter left.

I saw them at our local Walmart yesterday. They cost about $20.00. I didn't buy one since we get our water from counter service areas.

The bottles were $8.88 at my local Hy-Vee (a strictly mid-west chain, I think). I don't remember how much the replacement filters were (under $5 for 3?) but I'll grab them the next time I'm in!

We bought 3 of the bottles and a bunch of filters. The downside was that we got REALLY tired of carrying them around, so by the third day they were staying in the room. They do make the water taste better - I am VERY picky about water. I don't want my water to have any taste whatsoever.
