I just found these at my local CVS & bought 2. If you have used them, how did you like them for use in WDW? Last October I packed a case of pollnad spring water bottles in a extra suitcase. Obviously I would rather not do that this trip (as I pack too much anyway) but I did have an empty bag to fill with soveniers ;) .

How are these bottles in getting rid of the yucky taste of FL water?TY!

We just got back on Friday and we all had one to use (7 of us) and it was a wallet saver!!! You really could tell the difference when using the bottle, the water no longer had that woodsy smell and taste plus we brought the koolaid singles with us and the kids loved it----BUT the koolaid taste kind of stayed in the filter so when the kids wanted just water they could still taste the koolaid. Other than that we loved them and plan on stocking up on filters to have for future use!

We used them last year and just loved them. I filled them full of ice at the resort and then added water. They did sweat a little but I found some water bottle holders that absorbed the sweat and they were fine. The covers were not made for the Brita bottles but I just jammed them in. The filters did the job on the yucky water. :thumbsup2

We used them last summer and they were great, but if you use anything other than water with the filters in, you won't be able to get the taste out of the filter. We learned this the hard way after putting lemonade in one.

We used them on our last trip and they were perfect. They do sweat some but we use bags with pockets on the outside so it doesnt get our stuff wet. We refilled in the water fountains.

Suggestion on that extra taste in the filter. Fill the bottle with water and squeeze all the water out into another container. Mix up your lemonade or koolaid, take the filter out and pour your mixture back in the bottle, put the filter in a zip lock bag for later use.

The bottles are no longer made. The filters are hard to come by. I just bought some online about a month ago. The bottles work great. Mkae sure to not overuse the filters.

I bought my Fill and Go in 2001 and have used it on 7 WDW trips and a bunch of other occasions.

I have filled the bottle from drinking fountains, bathroom sinks, and at eateries in all of the parks, Downtown Disney, several resorts, and a few off-site places as well; it has always wiped out any funky taste and made the water clear and crisp, even when the water is warm.

Last year I picked up several extra bottles and a case and a half of extra filters, so I should be set with Britas for a long time to come.

Yep...not made anymore. I just bought some new-to-me filters that fit on a regular pop bottle and will be trying them out on my next trip :sunny:

I LOVE mine! I use it every day. So I bought a bunch of filters and stockpiled them.

The WDW water bottle strap will work on them too. I try to go without a bag for most of my trips, so the strap is a necessity.

I just remembered, you can always ask for a free glass of ice from the food stands, so we did that and then added the water.

They are actually still available at some CVS stores. They may just be left over but they are still for sale.

Oh no! I love my Brita bottle and it works great at WDW but I can't find it! I've got two CVS's nearby. I hope one of them still has one. I wish I knew what happened to my old one.

I came across this the other day - apparently, Culligan makes a filtered sports bottle in two different sizes. They look similar to the Brita Fill and Go bottles, so they probably perrform the same:

I bought a couple of these Culligan bottles, and although Iv'e never used the Brita's so I can't exactly compare... I do like my Culligan and I think it works great. :thumbsup2

Did you find them in a store or did you order them from the site? I checked both of my CVS's and Walmart and couldn't find anymore Britas. :guilty: Target is my next stop. Hopefully I can find some kind of filter bottle there.

Today I found on the clearance aisle at Walmart, a 2-pk. replacement filter pack for $2.00. I'm stockpiling since they are no longer manufactured. :thumbsup2

you can get the water filter bottles at purewater2go

I got mine a few weeks ago, they work great!!

I just got my purewater2go bottles and I love them! I ordered the family pack of the 27oz sport bottles and a few extra filters. They are very handy, I definitely recommend them for everybody. You can just throw them in a bag or carry them anywhere. Just refill wherever you are.

Our water where I live has a funny smell to it. I tried it with that, and it smells and tastes like fresh, pure water!!

My husband didnt want to get them because he thought they wouldnt work. Boy was he WRONG!!
