As I'm closing in on our departure date, i thought I'd start a thread where we can share tips to save money on any aspect of your holiday specifically for us Brits
....aka how to have more money to spend at Disney
A few that I've used:
1) If booking a Hotel separately, try booking a rate that can be cancelled without charge so that if price drops nearer to your Holiday, you can make big savings. We're doing this and hope to save £400
2) If booking Airport Hotel and are staying at a Marriott, Renaissance or PremierTravelInn, try buying Whitbread Leisure Vouchers via eBay to pay for the Hotel bill. These Vouchers are normally given away as work incentives by big Companies and you can normally save 10-15% off the face value. You can also use them at TGI's and lots of other Restaurants. Disney Store Vouchers are often listed too so you can use these to buy Park Tickets again at 10-15% saving.
3) Airport Parking: Take advantage of Discounts through AA, BUPA etc where you normally save 10-15% off normal advance purchase price. Voucher Code Websites such as "HotDeals" and "MyVoucherCodes" are worth checking.
Hope these help...any others out there ?

We hardly buy any name brand groceries, nearly all supermarket brand. I also frequent Home & Bargain for household items and toiletries (some food too though most of what they have isn't that healthy) and Costco for washing powder, cheese (we only use it in cooking so their bags of pre-grated stuff are ideal) and some fruit and veg (my bf is veggie and we both eat a meat free diet at home so we go through a lot of mushrooms, the big boxes are a great deal) Obviously their is a lot of scope for impulse buys at Costco so you have to be quite disciplined! *lol*
Same here!!!!!!!!.
