Bringing your "passporter" to the parks?

I'm very excited. I just received my new passporter.

I usually bought Birnbaum's book. Well usually means twice.

This is my 3rd Disney planning book.

I'm so exicted that I have a huge migraine and that I'm reading it. I know it's stupid ;)

My question is....since it has sooooooo much info in it... do you bring it to the parks with yo? Or do you simply leave it in your hotel room?

We always bring ours with us! We're always coming up with questions while we're there and it makes for a handy reference :) This year we bought the fancy binder and looseleaf covers. We figured that since we wind up buying one every year anyway and go multiple times... it comes in handy to be able to remove the folders for each trip or remove pages of stuff we're not interested in (such as the resort section - unless we plan on visiting the various resorts, it's not really necessary to bring the extra bulk)

I just keep it in the room, but I write down all my adr's for the day. I try not to carry anything so I don't have to go through security.

I was in line for Everest a few weeks ago and I saw people with UG and passporter.

I brought mine in the parks every day. I carried in my tote bag. It has great maps in it, and you can read it while you are sitting on the bus or riding the monorail.

I leave mine in the room. This is my 8th trip in 5 years though so I pretty much know exactly where I'm going. If you're more of a novice you may want to take it with you.

I have the Passporter for the cruise- you can be sure that will be with me every minute of the day. That thing is invaluable!!

We left ours in the room and this is what we found when we returned...

I took my maps out of my Passporter and laminated them and took that into the park with me. The Passporter maps are much better than the ones in the parks - especially, for me, cause it had been so long we had been there and AK and MGM were new to us.

I took mine with me and used it quite a bit.

I'd take the maps out and take those with me. I'd leave the rest of the book at the hotel. I really liked the check sheet. It helped me make sure I saw EVERYTHING!!!

I just got my passporter in the mail too!! I love it!! I havent decided if Im going to bring it to the parks or not .. i think I will probably leave it in the room because I dont really want to carry anything! Have fun!

I leave mine in my room. The only guides I need at the park is the times guide. I always save all the reciepts and stuff from the day, and empty them into the Pass Porter each night.

Mine goes to the parks with me!! Having all that info. right there with you is wonderful. Especially the restaurant opening and closing times... It was a life saver last year!!

OMG...that is beyond CUTE!!! I actually teared up a little. :umbrella: Just picked up my PassPorter today at Borders Bookstore and it's sitting here right in front of me! I usually take it with me, too.

I left mine in the room (one less thing to carry) but I referenced it almost every day.

We had the best Mousekeepers on that trip!! :thumbsup2 The kids couldn't wait to get back to the room to find out what they had done that day.

I just got mine yesterday! :teeth: Plus I got the Cruise edition, too. I am so excited! We have 48 days until our "Celebration Vacation"!!!

We normally leave ours in the room, but I find that I am tired when I get back and I don't do the journaling on the pocket pages after a few days. I looked at my PassPorter from April and I only filled out the back of the pockets for about 3 days. :confused3 That makes me sad.

I think since we will be going in January this year, it won't be too hot to carry a small sling pack with our PassPorter and a few things. Maybe then at dinner time I can start a little on the journaling part so it gets done.

While we are on the topic of the Marx books, did anyone buy the Passporter Hidden Treasure book and use it on a trip yet? I bought one, but I'm wondering if it detracts too much from the fun.

At what resort was that?
