After looking at the price of adding an overlay to the table I'm pretty sure I could save money just doing them myself. I'm only having 8 or so tables... Does Disney allow you to bring your own? Will they set them up if you do?

As a related question I found some centerpiece holders that I really like. I would still be using Disney floral, but just having them use my holders. Will they go for that? Will it save me anything not having to rent theirs?

Apologies for all the questions! :confused3

I asked some of the same questions a few months ago. I had also chosen to do an overlay of my own. They didn't have what I was looking for. Also, I had specific things I wanted on the tables. I'm one of those people that likes doing everything myself, so I know it will be the way I want. Its very difficult knowing that Disney will do everything for me. Anyways, I was told I could pretty much bring the things I wanted, and although I would not personally be able to set them up or see the room beforehand, I could draw diagrams to show the castmembers how I wanted the tables to look.

What was the cost comparison to do this? Did it end up being cheaper than spending what it costs to use Disney's materials? Did they charge you a set up fee since it wasn't their stuff? Thanks!!

I think this is a great question! I was also wondering if I could bring in my own centerpiece holders (candleabras) and have the Disney florist spruce them up a bit. I have asked my planner, but she says she is not sure and says it is up to the floral department.
I just moved my wedding up from May 2007 to February 2007. So, it would be great to save a little bit of money!
