Bringing your own dress to BBB

If I am having DD bring her own dress is there somewhere for her to change or do I need to have it on when we go in? I am surprising her with the BBB so I just need to know when to tell her!!

I would have your daughter wear her dress to BBB. Mine did. My DD 5yrs old wore princess costumes to all the parks and got LOTS of attention from CMs. She got picked to be in a few shows I think because she was dressed up. There are changing rooms at BBB, but it seemed like the girls who used them were buying a costume.

Yes, You can bring the dress TO the boutique. But I can definitely attest that DD will get lots of special attention if she's wearing the dress in the park.

IF you bring it to the boutique they will bring it in the dressing room for her and than take her back there the only problem w/ this is if they are busy and the rooms are full they will start doing her hair and makeup before she puts her dress on. If you decide to bring it and the wait seems long and you don't want her to start her hair and makeup before dressing I would change her before you check in or before they call you back.

Thanks! I will have her wear it then tell her I have a surprise for her.
She is planning to wear it the next day in the park. Last time she wore her dress all day. It was so cute all the people that loved seeing it!!

If you are going to the BBB at DTD, there is a bathroom at the WOD store where you could change her right before her appointment. There is no restroom at the BBB at Cinderella's castle. So, you'd have to either hope they let you use a dressing room (with the proper timing) or bring her to some other bathroom at MK before her appt.

We used the bathroom right inside cinderellas castle to change my dd.

Oh good! We are going to DTD so I will just have her dress in a bag and then she will be surprised as we get there. She has no idea this BBB even exists!

Since you are going to downtown disney before having her change in the restroom just see how long it would be before she could change in the dressing room you shouldn't have trouble at that location. I think the castle is busier and so more people come across that problem there. Normally I don't suggest changing in the bathroom b/c I try to avoid public restrooms at all cost so I don't know how others feel about having to do that. We have changed dd in the bathroom at the downtown disney location b/c we don't know that she could change in the dressing room, we have also changed her in the bathroom at the castle before our meal there.
