Hi! I've read to bring bottled water in separate suitcase, due to expense on board. I know you're not supposed to bring food/drink, but am interested in knowing what others have brought onto the ship without hassle.

Thanks in advance! ~Jen

I think you've been a bit misinformed - you are more than welcome to bring your own water, soda, alcohol, etc. on board. The only request is that you bring it on it your carry on luggage because if you put it in your checked luggage and it breaks, it could ruin someone else's clothing. There are some rules around the food - I know I couldn't bring homemade cookies on board, but I could bring a sealed package of commercially prepared cookies, like Girl Scout cookies. But once they were open, they had to be eaten or disposed of - we couldn't bring them back into the US.

Thanks for the info; now, has the heal-clicking trick worked yet???

In case you have not heard, the drinking water at the drink station on deck 9 is very good. I'm very pickey about the taste of my water and found the water at the drinking station to be as good if not better than bottled water. We did bring a few bottles on the ship and when they were empty we filled them at the drinking station and put them in the cooler in the room.
