Bringing Tinkerbell's Granny!

I just thought I'd ask for some help and advice. We are WDW regulars, but recent DVCers (2002). We visited VB and BCV this year (17 nights!) for our first trip 'home' and LOVED it.

We are planning a trip with our DD2.5 and bringing my wonderful Mum on her very first trip to WDW and her first ever flight. (Good way to start - transatlantic flight). We are looking at BCV in October, but nothing is fixed.

We'd welcome any advice that seasoned DVCers, parents and travellers with families wish to offer!

I'm not an experienced DVC'er....new in 02 too . But I do know that Oct can be a very busy time for DVC stays. You need to book as early as possible....especially if you are looking at mid to late Oct when halloween and Food & Wine Festival starts up.
This trip sounds like it will be a fantastic family vacation for you, have fun !!

It looks like a BCV 11 month booking then? Is it just busy for DVC or really busy in the parks? We have only visited in Feb, Nov?dec and May. How does it compare?
