Andrew, I immediately thought of you this morning when I heard what happened. Have not been able to get online until now, but I'm glad to hear that you and your family are ok, at least physically. Just know we're all thinking of you and here for you. Our thoughts are with you now. Why do these terrorists this this is ok? It is totally senseless!

I think it is mmouse that knows Darren who is a diser and used to work on the MAGIC. I heard from him today and I am happy to say that he, his family and friends are all fine.

Thank you everyone again for your best wishes and thoughts, I was lucky and thanks for that, The question is, London is a culturally diverse capital with representatives of most countries all working and living together.

I have friends from many different races and we all know one thing, we are all human and we all are as important as each other, and we all love life. Every one of them say, 'not in my name'', so the bombers do not represent any race, religion or culture.

Anyone who kills for the sake of it, cannot use the word human to describe themselves.

On a different note, I was playing around on DCLs website, and noticed that it now says we are to be onboard by 2:30 am in Acapulco. What happened to our overnight?

I wasn't planning on staying out all night, but moving the time 5 hours seems like a lot to me with no other changes to the itinerary.

On the Acapulco times, it might be they now know the booked times for the Panama canal crossing and need to be there early.

Also, how many would be still out at 2am to 7am? in Acauplco?

As for Acapulco...maybe we're leaving early to fit in another port ? Hope, hope, at this late date...even if they added Puerto Quetzal back...could they add a port now ? Didn't we get about $50 refunded because we lost a port ?

The itinerary at DCL's website says onboard at 2:30 am. It does not indicate that the ship will be leaving any earlier. Perhaps they want to make sure the drunken revelers are on board and counted.

The refund was for something. Depending on who is telling the story it is due to no Mazatlan, or due to damage in the canal, or due to the anchor problem. DCL isn't sharing.

So glad that you are safe and sound! My prayers to all the families. On a cruise note, we have a Cat 6 GTY and also have not yet received an assigned stateroom. I check the website multiple times daily. When they do assign a stateroom I'll probably fall off my chair!! Looking forward to meeting you and the other wonderful DISers on the cruise.

My understanding is the refund was from the loss of the port in quatamala. In fact right before we heard about the refund, I started complaining that we weren't refunded those port fees.

As for Acapulco, i highly doubt we're going to a different port. My guess is that they want us on board by 2:30 but that we won't leave till the morning.

I know that this isn't an easy way to tell, however, the magic took roughly 2 days and 16 hours (so 64 hours) to get from the pacific ocean of the panama canal to Acapulco. Yet leaving at 7am on Thursday morning, 64 hours later would be 11pm at night Saturday Night. I thought we were going through the canal Sunday morning. I would assume that it could take more time, to get there, but would it really take 5 hours more, and if we leave at 3, then thats a 9 hour difference.

I was just wondering about the times to leave the ship when we get into Port Canaveral. (Okay, I don't really WANT to be thinking about that.) In previous cruises, breakfast time on the last day, went by your dinner seating time. I know things were different in L.A., but I was hoping they will be back to normal in P.C. Any feelings or knowledge on the subject?

My feelings would be that they will be back to normal. The changes in CA are due to the security at the port and the port rules, not because of DCL. I would guess it will be the same as whatever is happening with the Wonder at the time.

Just checking in and thanking everyone for their kind words yesterday, I do not think they can at a port at this late stage think of shore trips etc, must be we need to get down to PC quickly or have a refuling stop in Bilboa, I would have loved to go to Costa Rica agian and the rain forest, its on the way, but I cannot see it now at this late stage.
