Next time we go, I think I might like to bring some uniquely Canadian treats for Mousekeeping etc.

I'd feel silly bringing something that can readily be purchased in the US!

List your Canadian products here! Thanks! :thumbsup2

Coffee Crisps (although I hear that you can now find them at the Canadian pavilion)
Tim Hortons Coffee
Ketchup Chips
Dill Pickle Chips
REAL Maple Syrup

Red Rose Tea
Smarties
Laura Secord lolypops or mini choc. bars
E.D. Smith Jam
Graves Jam ( If you live in the Niagara region)

Maple syrup
Maple doughtnuts from Tim Hortons
Laura Secord Candy
A Canadian Flag pen, stress ball, etc.

How about Hawkins Cheezies? Everytime our American family comes south they clean out the stores! :rotfl2:

A hockey puck!!!! He/she may need a paperweight ;)

Coffee Crisp bars are sold in the Canada Pavilion and at Publix, I believe. But really, like that would bother the mousekeeper.. hee hee!

Last time I was home in Canada I bought a box of six small Cadbury Thins Toffee "100 Calories" (or something like that) chocolate bars and they were FANTASTIC. So much better than American chocolate! Yum yum :)

if you REALY like your mousekeeper bring him/her a bottle of absinth (def. can't get it here in the u.s. :drinking1 :teeth: ).

you folks also have that great powdered custard mix (can't remember the name of it), and while we have lots of maple products-canada has those cool lollypops made of maple syrup (my kids loved the moose and tree shaped ones). either of these would likely go over well.

We have friends that live in Georgia so on one of our trips south, I thought I'd take something uniquely Canadian for him. What better than Moosehead Beer??? :drinking1 Imagine my surprize when I found out they had it there too.

Tim Horton's coffee was out. He orders it online and has it shipped by the case. And maple syrup.....he opened the cupboard to show me bottles of it.

One thing they can't get, or at least they aren't as good, are rice crackers.

I always bring the small packs of Smarties and Rockets candy.

This is because "Smarties" in the US are our Rockets.

They are exactly the same, but packaged as smarties.

Kids usually think this is funny.

Another thing (especially in the Southern states) are Mike's Hard Lemonade. It's "Malt beverage" there and tastes horrible. They also get a kick out of our coolers - with the "real" alcohol in them.

So, if Cadbury is Canadian, does that mean there are no Wunderbars in the US?? :faint:

Canadian Lay's potato chips - only sold in Canada flavour including: Curry, Wasabi etc -
Coffee Crisp
Aero
any with Maple
Red Rose tea
Ice Wine :thumbsup2 (cors in mini bottles )
