Bringing outside food in?

The chef's/managers I have spoken with have said the changes are a cost cutting measure. This is not "bashing" WDW in anyway-it is just sharing information. And I will leave it at that.
I was not trying ti start a fight or attack you I didn't even have your post in mind in my option it was not a coast saving measure but you have more info then me. I have respect for you I was just sharing what I thought the changes would be I even said I might be wrong. Sorry if you took my post the wrong way I was not saying you was bashing Disney I need even mention your post it was my option that it was not a coast saving measure I am wrong then since you talked to Disney about it.

We could mention it to Emily at BC. They are doing waffles now too :yay:

Waffles? Really? Considering that DTD is pretty much dead in the morning, I'm surprised they'd have a breakfast type of food there. They don't do ice cream but they could probably create some kind of candy by tweeking the icing. Geez, I really need to go down there one of these trips. We have enjoyed our cakes but I need to check out some of their other stuff :thumbsup2

You have not been to BabyCakes? I'm sorry but I have going to have to revoke your fan club card:lmao:

If you need an item recommendation, I know a little girl who would be happy to give you a tour:thumbsup2

I can tell you that the chocolate frosting is :cheer2:, or so I have heard:rolleyes1.......:lmao: The staff at BC goes out of their way to enable. Someone I know walked out with chocolate frosted pumkin loaf with chocolate chips. (No it did not come that way-she had help LOL)

Oops! I didn't mean to freak some of you out there. I remember awhile back that DLR made some changes to the GF brands it carried and I was super worried it wouldn't be as good but they weren't so bad. I'm hoping that WDW will be similar and they don't sacrifice taste even if it boils down to cost. I'm waiting to see what they say in a couple weeks. It can't be any worse than the options they gave DS at the extended hospital stays last year.

I've bought 2 6" cakes, does that allow me to keep my fan club card? Please? I may take you up on your offer in February (just booked flights last night ). My girls really enjoyed meeting your daughter and I know would love to see her again.

We're not freaking out (yet) but we're certainly nervous. You know, not being worse than hospital options (which are for some unexplainable reason rediculously gross) just doesn't seem to be a high enough bar to me. WDW is who set their bar so high. IMO it's their job to keep it there. We'll just wait and see what happens. I can't speak for everybody else, but I do appreciate getting a heads up when things are changing because at least I can prepare for the change. I really don't do well with change when it's unexpected so at least I know so thank you.
