We are sailing on the Wonder in February. My daughter (she'll be 2 at the time) drinks vanilla almond milk instead of cow's milk. Will I be able to bring this onboard? TIA

If it is the shelf-stable variety, then you are fine to bring it on. It must be unopened and in your carry on bag. You are not allowed to bring perishable foods onboard so the variety which requires refrigeration would be an issue.

Ok yes, they do sell it that way. Thanks so much!

You may not be able to take it off at different ports. I would check with the rules of each port in your itinerary. Some say absolutely nothing and some say as long as it isn't opened.

we bring shelf stable Rice Dream chocolate rice milk onboard for two of our sons. We have never had a problem or even asked about it.

If there's a flavor/brand your daughter prefers, I would bring what she likes onboard.

That would be awesome! We've never sailed with Disney so I'm not sure.

You can contact the Special Services department at (407) 566-3602 to discuss any special dietary needs. I believe I've read that almond milk is available, as is rice milk and soy milk. Anything you bring onboard should be shelf-stable and unopened; I would not count on being allowed to take it off in ports, though.

Enjoy your cruise!

My husband drinks unsweetened almond milk which is hard to find (usually only the sweetened version is available). For our 2 week Panama Canal cruise last year we wrapped a bundle of boxes in heavy duty Saran Wrap (LOTS), and put them in a cardboard box to check as luggage on the plane. We carried them on the ship. This worked like a dream, despite one box leaking very slightly. Because we had so many layers of plastic wrap it was contained and the box stayed dry. On a short cruise you probably don't need as much as we did, but I wanted to share that it's totally doable!
