Okay, everyone knows how expensive the drinks are. I know we can bring in alcohol to our rooms but, can we bring any to the pool? Like in plastic cups? Can you bring coolers to the pool?

YES!!!! Good! I also wonder if anyone has ever put anything into their refillable mug? I notice that they don't really check them at the gates. Last trip I stayed at YC and when we would go to the room to change for dinner and just walk into the back of EPCOT I would have my mug filled with wine. No one ever said a thing. Is this something normal or did I just luck out with Cast Members who don't check the contents of your refillable mug? lol (I know I sound like an alcoholic but 1 its vacation and 2 Im from New Orleans) :D

My wife and I like to have a Sunken Treasure in our mugs when walking into Epcot via the International Gateway from BC. Never had an issue. Plus a Grey Goose Slushie from France travels around the World much better in a Refillable Mug than the glass it comes in.

It is against the rules. And, they do enforce it at times. With that, containers FORMERLY containing alcohol aren't really a violation. So, should you have a small plastic, reusable bottle of a certain liquid, refill your mug at Boardwalk or Beach Club with room for said liquid - then leisurely stroll the Boardwalk while you finish your drink - you are fine as far as I know.

We put a little rum or bourbon in our mugs and then fill up with Coke at the drink station, and walk into Epcot through the IG from BC.

I have often brought a soft sided cooler to the pool, NO GLASS ALLOWED, So no bottles or glassware and you are good to go

One night we had a bartender from our favorite restaurant overhear us that we were heading into the park and sad that we didn't have a signature cocktail with us. He said "stay right here for a few minutes." Next thing you know, we had refillable mugs that had said favorite signature drink in them and off we went to the park.......with no questions asked.}
