You need to save that. Try going here http://homepage.ntlworld.com/theblakes/augrepo07/ then you should be able to right click on the link for DCL_Aug_07_Repo.kml and select "Save Target As". This will allow you to download a copy of it that you can then open from Google Earth and run.

I would love to see this also.

I have saved the file you described to my desktop, however when I open Google Earth and select open I cannot see this file to select.

Can you explain in real simple terms to a simple person like me

I am sure this has already been covered, but Im not too good at searching the forum.

As you prob know there are now ressies available for Palos.

We really want to do Brunch and Dinner just once.

I think we would ideally choose sea days, but for dinner would want to avoid the last night, Captains dinner night and pirate night. Dont know when these are yet.....

Will there be more availability when we get on board or have I missed my chance completely.


Also, living in UK, will we also be sent Docs? Do we need them? We arragned our own air and have done the online checkin.

When you have Google Earth open click File -> Open from the menu bar at the top (or press Ctrl+O). In the window that will appear navigate to the place where you saved the file into, in your case the desktop (you can get to the desktop by clicking on the down arrow next to the "Look in" bar at the top of the window and selecting "Desktop" in the drop down list that will appear)

The kpl file will probably open in the "Places" menu on the left of the page. Select it there (it will probably already be selected anyway) and then hit the play button underneath it in the Places menu.

That should set it running. Hope this helps.

Yes you will get docs (via a brown UPS van). As you've organised your own flights (as we did) they will just be for the cruise itself, and any transfers you may have booked with DCL (we've booked transfers from BCN to the port).

The docs are basically the following:
- Luggage tags to ensure that you're bags get to your stateroom
- Immigration forms for the Bahamas
- A "Helpful Hints for Your Trans-Atlantic Voyage" sheet
- Travel Booklet, with your itinerarys, important messages, cruise information, gratuity guidelines, transfer coupon (if you've booked them), minors agreement for children travelling without parent/guardian, payment authorization form, embarkation-departure form, cruise and airline contracts

The Travel Booklet is what will get you on-board the ship in Barcelona - so you definitely need that !

When you have Google Earth open click File -> Open from the menu bar at the top (or press Ctrl+O). You will be able to book Palo once on board the ship.

Did anyone get any luggage tags???? Didnt they use to send them out before ????? (Not the ones you put on before the ship) but like the plastic ones you put on your suit cases

Hi Disney Vegas....glad you got your doct. We only go the luggage tags for before getting on as well. I thought it was kind of weird. Looking forward to meeting you in PHL...IF my dh's passport ever arrives. That is getting VERY tense right now.
