Also I just made my very first door sign ever!! It is not real fancy but it looks nice. Only 3 more weeks!!!

I need to get on my magnets. I tried to do one last night with the flag of Spain, but it came out to digitized. I will have to elicit help to get it right. If it becomes to stressful, I will blow off the whole idea and just relax. Now thaere is a plan I have never experienced before.

Hi Dee, i just picked up the magnetic paper today and will try printing some magnets. got some pix ready to go. i feel the same way where if they don't come out good will scrap the whole thing.

i also have to start my fish extender. have you made your's yet?

That's how I felt about it too. If it worked great, if not I would just have a plain door (with the DVC magnet that always magically appears). I am also taking the laid back approach with my Fish extender. I found something a week ago at Ikea that might work, if not my back up plan is to go to the Hobby Lobby and pick up one of those Canvas tote bags you can decorate with fabric paints and such.

I can't believe we are 3 weeks away!! I have been so busy the last few weeks that the boards and the cruise have been pushed to back burner. I need to catch up and start getting ready. I have an envelop addressed and waiting for my DH to bring me a stamp so i can mail it tonight for my lanyards!! I have done one target run for stuff but have at least one more run. Next on the list is stuff for the fish extenders (and a fish extender) and finding pants that fit my son. It is coming up fast!!

I'm not talented w/craft stuff - in order to keep sane I decided to let it be - no magnets, fish extenders - plus time - I'm nearly out of it and man so much left to do both for the trip and projects to finish. Relax - that is a beautiful word!

I am really gettting excited - I just bought a voucher on line for the "Paris City Hop On Hop Off Tour" and a Paris Museum Pass. Next I need to book a shuttle from the airport to the hotel. Whoopee!!!!

Looking for help, I am trying to do this now that we have just booked the cruise.

We are arriving at BCN on 8/17 at 8:20 (USAir).

I haven't found a hotel to stay at that day/night.
I'm looking for advise or anyone who has something helpful...

Is there a way to get a room early (other than booking a room for 2 nights, starting on 8/16). Then again, perhaps we won't get out of the airport/customs to the hotel before 2pm. I think we are just looking for a place to recover from the long flight and adjust to the time difference.

Did anyone on the May repo stay in barcelona and liked their hotel choice?

If you are still reading and wanting to ask the question: Why don't you book something through DCL? Well,they say their contracted hotels are all full. I think I will call them again to see if that had changed.

Then, there are 4 of use, 2 adults and 2 kids. It looks like a lot of hotels have 2-person max per room, so I need to book 2 rooms. Is that common or should I keep looking until I find something to hold us in 1 room?

Of course, I'm looking for a good location. But I'm not sure how to do this. I've been looking in the area close enough to walk to some of the well known major attractions.

Finally, what's up with this power outage. Is it possible that the power will still be out in 3 weeks? Perhaps we should look for a place which is outside the affected area...

Hi! Sounds like you're on our flight out of Philly. We are booked for the one night at Le Meridian. Just hoping that customs will take a while and then getting there hopefully will be able to check in and then do some tourist stuff and try to stay awake to fight the jet lag.

I have not started mine yet. I was sitting here banging out ideas. I think I am going with a FGM theme and using the material from my costume.

And I already purchased iron-on transfer fabric stuff! so i could just put a 'mini-doorsign' on the bag - thanks for the idea!!!

There are now 82 Fish Extenders??? I think the last count I saw was about 30something. I guess I need to go get a lot more of what I got so far!

We're hoping to at least get to the craft store this weekend to get some magnets and fabric to make the fish extender. Hopefully we'll be able to start them this weekend too. There's a ton of laundry and getting everything together to pack, more shopping, finishing up our wedding planning which all has to be done before we leave, dr.'s appointments, work.. You know somthing had to give for me - 1st I'm not creative - then I have no time - so --I decided I'd just pick up some small gifts and be a giver and forget trying to make an extender et al!!

I dont think it really matter but what id do is if you have time (dont know what time your dinner reservation is or what time your normal dinner rotation is) but I'd try and pop in at your dinner rotation time just to say hi to your servers and say youre off to palos. Just a nice way to introduce yourselves to them and then they dont think you just didn't turn up (never sure if anyone tells them youre going to Palos)
