Bringing food into parks

We used to pack lunches/snacks/drinks in soft sided coolers and bring them into the parks. Do they still allow this?

Offficially the answer is no, you can't bring in outside food. Unofficially, they seldom stop you.

The Dark Marauder works at Universal/IoA. He knows what he is talking about.

thanks. we were hoping to take lunch with us as were on a strict budget, this will definately save a few $

Just there at beginning of August. We brought in lunch, though it was in a back pack, not cooler. No one seemed to care. We brought frozen water bottles that we carried in covers. No problems at all.
