Hello!

I have been reading trip reports and Q/A for quite some time now and now I have a question of my own.

My husband and I will be taking our first cruise together on the Feb 26th sailing of the Dream (our "babymoon"). I will be 21 weeks pregnant at the time and I have some questions about what we can bring onboard drink wise. It's only a 3 day cruise, so I'm not too worried about it, but I've seen some pictures of they drink machines and it looks like the only soda offered that isn't diet or caffeinated is Sprite. I know you can get juices in the dining rooms as well.

Anyway, so my question is, if I want to bring soda on board (say FANTA), as long as I pack it in the carry-on, it's okay right? I'd probably bring the 8-pack of mini 8oz cans. And maybe some mini bottles of water to keep in the stateroom as well.

Also, We plan to bring a bottle of wine for DH to enjoy while in the room. Okay to bring a bottle of sparkling juice for me as well?

TIA.

Yes. There are no restrictions on nonalcoholic beverages other than they must be in your carry on.

Hey there, I just had this same question because the Dream does not offer Coke Zero =( I e-mailed DCL because there isn't a lot of great information online about how to bring non-alcoholic drinks onboard. Here is the "official" response I got in e-mail from DCL guest services:

Bringing on non-alcoholic beverages:

As for bringing beverages onboard, Disney Cruise Line does not prohibit
Guests from bringing non-alcoholic bottled beverages, such as water or
soda, onboard. All bottles must be sealed/unopened and fit into your
carry-on day bag. Your carry-on bag must not be larger than 9" x 14" x
22".

Please be aware, Disney Cruise Line reserves the right to remove fragile
items (including beverages) from checked luggage. Beverage containers
are considered fragile and in checked luggage have caused damage (e.g.
carbonated cans "explode", glass bottles break). For this reason, all
fragile items and beverages must be hand carried onboard the vessel in
your day bag and/or carry-on.

As far as coolers, large coolers may not be brought onboard. However,
small personal-sized coolers for the purpose of housing medications,
baby food, baby milk, or items related to dietary constraints are
permitted to be brought onboard. These coolers can be no larger than 12"
x 12" x 12" and can only contain the above items.

As always, the above is subject to change without notice.

Just FYI, just did this last Friday with no issues. We just brought on the smaller 12oz bottles. No problems at all.
