I am just in the beginning stages of planning & I have a 6 mo old we will be bringing with us & I am wondering if there are rides the 6 mo old can ride with us on my lap like wdw?

Not really. Sorry. There's lots to look at, though, especially the bright colors in Seuss Landing.

We took our son, 11 months (of course this was before WWOHP) I found an air conditioned indoor playground (at Universal) by Barney area, he was able to crawl and cool off. He loved the music and we watched a couple of shows with him. Our most pleasant day of that vacation since MK was swamped when we went. Its amazing what will make those babies smile! Enjoy!

we went with our dd at 6 mo and "if i ran the zoo" at seuss land was about the only thing she could really enjoy. i was a bit disappointed but in truth i don't think she was any less happy than at wdw, we just had to use baby swap alot more.
have a great trip
:)

That's true. We think a baby will get more out of "it's a small world" because it's a ride and all... but in truth, babies that little just love the stimulation of the world and bright colors and a stroll through an ordinary park is probably every bit as exciting as a ride like "Peter Pan."

My daughter was that age when we went last year. she did Cat in the hat, the Seuss Carousel. She loved all the shows. Though I though some of them were a bit loud so i cupped her ears. I know that for the Cat in the Hat I had to take her out of the Bjorn but she was standing and mostly trying to walk by then.

OH and the entire water area of Curious George! It was 103 everyday and hadn't rained for about 12 days so she loved hanging out in there. I did too. feel free to PM me and I can give you more details. It's doable and she will have fun.

Besides the Carosuessal, your child must be able to sit next to you in order to ride any of the other Suess rides. My 6 mo old, isn't ready to sit up by himself yet so he doesn't ride. BUt he does enjoy the music and colors Suess Landing offers.
