bringing alcohol to the parks

The OP's question was answered in the 1st reply. This thread has no where to go but down from here. Like many other hot topics, people get very judgmental and before you know it, it's popcorn:: time.

I used to work in a bar (in the not too distant past...) and one night a guy brought his own bottled beer in. When I caught him, he stood there tyring to convince me that I sold it to him... we didn't carry his brand in stock. When I told him that, he argued with me for another 5 minutes. I eventually had to throw him out for the night when he wouldn't let it go. :sad2:

:rotfl: I wonder if he thought you were the drunk one.

:lmao:

OP, there is plenty of alcohol to be purchased in both Epcot and DHS.

Every country in the World Showcase offers interesting adult beverages. You can get Moosehead on tap from an outdoor vendor in Canada or Beck's on tap in Germany. :drinking1 Mexico has a drink stand with frozen margarita's, but if you want wine, both Italy and France sell nice ones from both outdoor carts and inside stores. You can even buy bottles of wine there to take back to your resort.

Good info, but don't forget Germany also has wine inside! US has the Sam Adams stand. France has those slushies..... Quite tasty!! There is a tap outside the Rose and Crown in the UK, but I can't remember what they have -- we usually start in Mexico, so by the time we get to the UK I'm still feeling the effects of the previous countries! :goodvibes

its illegeal to bring a alcohol bev into any place in fl that sales it , it does not stop people with flask though u see them all over disney

Can you bring alcohol into a restaurant, bar or night club? I mean really! It is a business. They want you to buy theirs.

Actually, there was a bar/club in Memphis, TN that I used to frequent as a young adult (18-21) and they DID allow you to bring in outside beer and liquor. You could bring in soft drinks. I never understood it, but their rules allowed for a great deal of underage drinking.

And to add to this - because each park has their own liquor license, you cannot take any alcoholic beverages OUT of the park with you either. So no getting a beer to drink on the bus ride back to the resort. You will have to finish it before you go through the exit turnstiles.

Last year the CM at the IG at Epcot made us pour out our cups of ice water before she would let us leave the park. I was very noticeably 6 months pregnant at the time. I thought that was a bit much but now I'm just glad that she didn't sniff it! :rotfl:

sigh... these threads always spiral down so quickly.

I don't understand why a thread likes this spirals out of control. They either allow alcohol to be brought in or they don't. It's not like anyone here sets the rules.

Someone mentioned people bringing in a flask. People have also been known to carry the teeny bottles of liquor into MK. I don't see the point myself.

The informative chime in, but then the judgmental chime in. That's where things go wrong...

Alcoholic beverages can't be brought into the parks, no matter how they are packaged.

Didn't see this thread spin out of control until someone actually mentioned that it would inevitably spin out of control.

Some people are addicted to alcohol, that is why they must sneak it in....

Not sure why. Unless it's the Magic Kingdom they can buy some in the parks. At MK they can walk over to the Wave and grab a drink at the bar. That doesn't make a lot of sense when the stuff is freely available. I'd guess those who would want to bring it in are either resisting paying Disney prices or wanting to ensure they've got their favorite brand.
