Hi! Will it be sufficient to just bring my spreadsheet with all of my ADR info on it into the parks for next month or do I need to bring all of those print outs? With all of the baby's stuff/cold weather I want to minimize the stuff I bring into the park as much as possible - but I have read so much about lost ADRs lately...
Thank you so much in advance!:goodvibes

I just take one sheet with the Place, Date, Time and ADR # but honestly I have never needed it just my last name at checkin has been enough.
Have a great trip :)

Personally at this point (with all the mix ups and what) I would take the actual printed confirmation. Not taking a chance since things are so crazy right now.

Yes they may have things "fixed" by then but you won't know really until you get there and either have a problem or everything be ok.

OK - I am about to reveal my over-planning/prepare-for-the-worst not-so-secret illness!

I PDF all of my ADR confirmation emails. Then, I save them in my Google Docs in a special folder. I then add a shortcut to that folder on my iPhone's home screen so I can quickly pull up my confirmations without carrying all that paper with me.

:scared1:

I can't believe I just admitted that in public!

LOL, that is a great idea, i was just commenting on a different thread that they needed a WDW dining app that would let you do that :thumbsup2

I think we've only needed our confirmation # once that I can remember. Most other times we just gave our last name and that was enough.

There is an icon on the website that says "my reservations" and all of my ADR's are listed there with confirmation#'s. Just print that out and leave it in your bag for your vacation.

I print out the list from the WDW website I get after making ADR's and keep a copy in my bag. I feel a little safer having the actual WDW list on hand and not my handwritten copy that I could make a mistake on. While I have never been asked for any of the information, just my name, it paid off once. I got an ADR even though it never went through online and I called and was told I did not get it :confused3. I had not looked closely at my list on the computer the day before I left, just printed it out and put it in my bag. One morning I glanced at the list to double check a time and saw the ADR I did not know I had. The ADR was for CRT and we would have missed it otherwise. That would have been an expensive and disappointing miss.

I just program my confirmation numbers into my phone's calendar, that way not only do I have them, they're organized and the meal we're heading to next comes up on that day's screen. We have a long, unusual, oddly spelled Polish last name and back when we were making ADRs over the phone the dining CMs often inputted it wrong, so we sometimes ran into times when the hostess couldn't find us by last name to check us in. Having the confirmation numbers easily at hand made it so much easier on us and on the CM at the check-in stand!

Wyonative - I love that idea! I'm getting a smartphone in January when our current cell contract is up, and I'll have to keep that in mind for our next trip. MUCH easier than adding each ADR individually the way I'm doing now with my "dumb"phone! :rotfl:

They do, per se, the "Mouse Memo" app has an area for just dining where you can choose the Disney restaurant and then put the confirmation #, how many in the party, what date and time, if it is on the DDP or not, and if you are using an iPhone, (rather than the iTouch), there is a button down on the bottom that when you press it, it will automatically call Disney Dining if you have any questions. Then once you are done putting all of your ADRs in there, it will neatly put them in order by date so when you have to go in there, you will see the date, time, name of restaurant, and Confirmation #s. I love this app and it really helps me when I am at Disney :goodvibes

All this talk about writing down the numbers, I went over to the disney site to print out the list of ADR's ( I also have them on my spreadsheet) but of course I made a few changes to our ADR's tonight and didnt write down the Confirmation #s and just logged onto the Disney site.... All my ADR's are gone... :confused:it says I have no dinning reservations.... PERFECT!! :scared1:

It just happened to me too. Make a tweak and now it says they're all gone.
I'm sure they're still there but it just makes you crazy!

Update: Mine are back now. I switched browsers and now they all show up again.

Every time I make a change to my ADRs, I go directly to the "reservation retrieval" page and copy and paste the entire list into a word document. I also have a day-by-day list with the times and dates of each ADR, and the CMs on the phone have been able to find my reservations even with just that information in the past.

But in response to OP's original question, we have index cards for each day with our ADRs (my card includes the confirmation numbers) and information about the general plan that day. Our older boys always ask for these - they put these in their pockets and can look at them for assurance of meal times and to see that their favorite rides are still on the "priority list" for the day! They still ask me about meals and rides several times a day, but then they say, "I'll check my card!" It's become a trip tradition, and a family joke for them to keep asking the same questions multiple times and then look at their cards. :)

We haven't needed the numbers in the past, but you never know. I also love the idea of sending them to your phone, using apps, etc.! :wizard:

That is awesome! Don't be embarrassed, I bet you now have at least a dozen people on this board who are going to imitate you! Count me in as one of them...:cheer2:

I do the same thing and never had a problem at all :santa:
