Has anyone traveled with a twin size (raised) blow up mattress? Which resorts have you been able to fit one in and still be able to walk to the bathroom?

I'm thinking a moderate or value- we've done deluxe and DVC before, but not in the budget this time.

Well it depends. Moderates, zero issues in any of them. For the Values, the new rooms at Pop and Movies with the queen beds it is extremely tight. One will fit, but part of it has to go under one of the beds and it will block the door to the room. No issues in the Value rooms that have not been refurbished yet with the 2 Queen beds.

We did in a Nemo suite at AoA. It wasn't ideal...we had it between the bed and the wall, not the bathroom side. It was just too tight for us, but it did technically work!

I’m glad you asked this question. I’ve been trying to figure this out, too!

Not picking on your post, it’s good, but as a hotelier, this post raises an important issue for me. It is ok to use air mattresses but I urge people to make sure that you keep a clear path to the egress, ie don’t block any exit door. It is very unlikely that an emergency situation will occur but if one does you will have a lot less time to get out than you might think. Tripping or falling over something will make it harder to get out and if there is smoke you may hav even more trouble. So when you place the mattress check that you have a clear way out.

Completely agree.
