It was a woman, but her name wasn't Teena! It was Elizabeth, I think. There were several ladies greeting guests when we arrived.

I can't believe I didn't find your TR until page 5!! What a rough start to your trip but I think the airline tickets and comp for your lunch wasn't too bad of a trade off. Except that you lost valuable time on your first day!! Now I'm curious about the room.....

I hate to hear that Airtran did that to y'all and didn't notify you - that had to be pretty irritating! Glad you finally made it and the room looks really nice - makes me really want to check out DVC! Can't wait to hear what Diser you had a text from...

Glad your TR has begun! Although sorry about the aggravation with the flights! I hate to fly, so once I am in the air the only time I am landing is at my destination - no layovers for me! Can't wait to read some more...

Are you doing a PTR for your July trip? I don't think I am that popular to do one - no one would really care anyway. Have you made ADR's, I have, and now I am kind of bored with nothing to do but wait! I am always tempted to change things around, but so far I have been resistent!

We almost never take flights with layovers, but this trip was planned at the last minute (well, ~2 months out), and we couldn't find good prices on direct flights.

No PTR plans right now, I don't think I can keep up with two things at once! We have one dinner ressie made, at Le Cellier, for the July trip, and a breakfast at Crystal Palace reserved for the June trip. More ressies to come soon, I'm sure.

We loved the Beach Club in general. The villa rooms (or at least ours) have not been refurbed recently, and are starting to show some wear and tear. We didn't like the bathroom setup of our room at all - it had no countertop or storage space.

That's weird... they're counting down correctly! The June trip is from the 6-11 right now (Sun-Fri), so I think we have some overlap there, right? That one's at SSR for the time being, but it's waitlisted at VWL and I'm going to call back sometime next week to see if anything else has become available. The other summer trip is July 26-August 1... the night of the 26th we have waitlisted for a MK view @ BLT (that's our actual anniversary ), and then our friends will probably be joining us starting July 27... debating whether to keep the BLT studio & cram 4 of us in there for 5 nights, or move to either SSR or AK to a 2-bedroom....

Oh boy!

It was mostly the bathroom setup at BCV we weren't thrilled with... I'll explain more in the next installment.

Nice update. I am reading from work, so I can't see your room pictures, but I am excited that you got a view of Illuminations from the balcony. Can't wait to stay at BCV one of these days. Wow - you really did have a long travel day. Now wonder you were beat!

There may have been a point at the airport where I was near tears (that happens to me when I get ), but as soon as they got us on to the 2:30 flight, I was fine. Ironically, the 2:30 flight was the one I'd booked originally, before they moved us to the 10:40am one... and I'd never updated ME, so our vouchers ended up being exactly right!

We actually waitlisted BCV for this trip, and luckily, the waitlist came through for us. We discovered that fact when our ME tags showed up and were for BCV rather than SSR!

We've decided that we the Epcot area resorts. I think we might try to buy a resale at one of them one of these days, when money isn't quite so tight. Epcot is pretty much our favorite park, so to be able to walk over & go through the International Gateway was soooo wonderful.

Oh my gosh, I just noticed your countdown. Looks like we'll both be at WDW in July. We are staying at the Contemporary from the 19-24 and then the 24-31 at OKW.
