Does Air Canada restrict you from bringing your own food on a flight?
I know that the 100ml restriction applies for liquids, but I'm talking about granola bars, snacks, things like that.
What about fruit? We should be able to take fruit from our departure to Toronto shouldn't we? I can see not being able to take it to the States though....
Thanks

you should be able to get drinks at the food/bev area and board the plane with it because it is from a secured area. I am assuming that your airport has these, as I have only flown out of Detroit and they do. My DBIL did this just last week for his trip to Vegas....not as cheap as bringing from home, but more variety than the plane.
