Bring the stroller or rent a stroller...hmmm...

We are driving to WDW in 16 days. We have a jogging stroller that we used our previous trip. We have considered renting through Kingdom strollers instead because 1 - having the extra space in the car would be great and 2 - the city single is a lot more compact than our stroller and better in crowds. I considered bringing the stroller because 1- That's $84 we could otherwise save or spend and 2 - we know our son will sit in this stroller and that it's safe for him. I should probably have mentioned that he is 8 but has multiple physical reasons for needing a stroller. He's very small for his age (wears a 5t) and last trip his energy didn't last more than an hour out of the stroller.

What do you think? Is it worth renting the smaller stroller?

You say he's small for his age, but my son outgrew his Citi Mini at about age 5 so you may be close still (if he's in a 5t). It was pretty tight for him and the sunshade bumped his head when it was put down (so I couldn't rest anything there anymore).

Personally, I'd go with the stroller I know he already knows and likes.

Thanks so much! That helps big time because we would probably have the sun shade down all the time. Your experience just bought us food for a day! Well, maybe breakfast :goodvibes

In August we used the citi mini for my boys and they fit just fine. They were a couple of months shy of 5 and were wearing a 5 t as well. I can tell you that your jogger will likely be a better push. As our boys have gotten bigger they stroller doesn't push as easy as our jogger at home does.
