are you allowed to do that in the value resorts? i know you can rent both of those things from Disney, but i have my own and will be driving down. there is plenty of space in the van for these things. it would come in so handy for quick meals in the room and especially keeping/heating the baby's bottles.

do i have to let them know when i check in that i will be using them?

i don't want mousekeeping to stumble upon them and report me for something i didn't realize was against the rules.

I don't think WDW rents microwaves for the rooms--just little fridges. You are not supposed to cook in rooms that are not designed for that. You can go to the food court where there are microwaves for you to use. :flower:

Bring the fridge, leave the microwave. The food court has microwaves & toasters.

ok - mini fridge, good - microwave, not good. i got that part.

how about one of those plug in bottle steamer warmer hickies - i am trying to avoid schleping to the food court to warm up a bottle - especially for that last feeding of the night or goodness forbid she get thrown off her schedule from all the running around and wake in the middle of the night and want one.

I would think that a bottle warmer would be ok. It can't pull any more wattage(?) than a coffeemaker or a hairdryer, plus there aren't any cooking odors associated with it.

agnes!
