Hi all...I haven't been on this board in a while. It's been about 3 years since my last trip with DS who has Down Syndrome. That was our first trip with both FP+ and DAS (vs paper FP and GAC.)

I realize they have now moved to the DAS linked to magicbands/MDE. Is there any reason to bring that old DAS card with us, as far as the process for getting a new one? I think I know where it is....in a big tub at the bottom of a pile in a friends storage unit...so if having it won't really help, I won't bother digging for it.

Would the info from that old DAS card be linked to him now? I remember they took his picture, but don't recall if the info was kept anywhere.

nope I would not worry about getting it ( or finding it) all you need to do is go to any GR inside ( sometimes the one right out side the main parks can do it too) and just tell them why he needs one. should not take 10 minutes, if you do happen to find it some times you can bring it with you and say my child had a DAS before, and it take about 3 minutes less, but sometime the CM want you to explain why again anyways

We brought ours and it helped in the sense that all we needed to do was present it to the CM and they processed the new electronic one. We didn't need to go through the "why we need this" discussion.
