Gee thanks Tony... I hadn't checked the weather alerts yet for this and now I am glad that I hadn't. The snow is come down pretty strongly here and sometimes coming down sideways  The plows are coming around very often and at this rate, I doubt I will be going in to work tomorrow. I think I'd rather just enjoy the snow than trying to fight it and driving in it!

I remember those "leave with a full tank of gas" days. And then before you head home you would try and find a gas station again. So glad I left the cold! :teeth:

Here in Pa, they are calling for 8 - 20"!!! My sense of humor is now officially gone and I REALLY need some sunshine, warm air, flowers.....heck, even hayfever is looking good!!!:earseek:

Oh, come on Colleen. Wheres your sense of adventure.

Take the kiddies sled riding, go make a snowman.

I know you guys have been hit hard this winter. We on the other hand have not gotten a lot of snow. I love a big snow storm.

Kara just came in from snowblowing and shoveling and said

"Mom - next time I wish for some snow - maybe I shouldn't wish so hard"

Hey we lived in Grand Rapids MI for 9 years...you want to talk snow...lake effect!

When we moved back to my hometown my DH became spoiled...he did not have to shovel the walk everyday.

So, here we are....SNOW!

Don't mind me...I am waiting for June to go see the lilacs on Mackinac Island...the snow may now leave!

Here in PA waiting for 1-2 feet
they said this storm will be measured in feet not inches
not getting a good feeling about this one
I have scrapbook pages from our 1996 store of 26 inches
that drifted to 4-5 feet
Yuck
Stay safe and warm everyone

Oh, shoot, Breezy.....did you have to post that???? Monmouth county is the county directly south of me.

I keep hoping it's going out to sea......:(

It started here before 4:00 a.m this morning.
I did SO not want to be snowed in today.:(

Mposet,

My sense of adventure went out the window the day before we left for Disney in Dec....surely you haven't forgotten those 10"!!!:bounce: I spent HOURS shoveling out the driveway so we could pull the camper out the next morning!! Now if I were leaving for Disney tomorrow morning, you couldn't pry the shovel out of my hand!!:p

My youngest just came inside...the tears were flowing....Seems like her older sister was trying to BURY her in the snow... Her entire face was snow covered!! KIDS!!!

It was suppose to start snowing here around noon today, I woke up at 6am and the ground was already covered with an inch of snow. Snowing rather hard now, we are expecting 12-20 inches with the latest report. I had to run to CVS this morning to pick up some pain medication for my DW. Below is a photo I took after arriving home from CVS. This was taken at the home across the street from me. You can see how hard the snow is falling.

Everybody now....
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

I took my kids out before it got so deep that I wouldn't find them! We have no where to go for the next couple days so I'm just going to act like a kid and enjoy it! :D

Nice picture Verandah Man...can you still see your house from the road?!

What road??? I have no road in front of my house anymore!!!
It's coming down real hard right now, I mean, real hard!!!

They have just issued a level 3 snow emergency for the county I live in.

It hasn't snowed like this since 1996.

Just think Colleen, your cable could be out!

My cable is out, but thank God for Direct TV!!!!!!!!!!

I know I will be sick of this by Tuesday, but right now it is so cool.
